Learning at Kapaun Mt. Carmel has been one of, if not the most singularly frustrating things I've experienced in my short life. Yes, there are some fantastic individual teachers. But they are rare. And rarer still is one such teacher that stays more than a year or two! The lack of communication and organization in administration makes positive chance nigh on impossible, and their unwillingness to hear students out on that matter only sounds the death knell of progress at this school. They seek to hire based on the lowest wage, not the highest qualification; there are precious few teachers and administrators who actually care about any individual student's wellbeing, and the school environment reflects this. Every bit of positivity I've gained from this school has been wrung out by my own hands. Congratulations include: the drama department! Obituaries include: debate, choir, band, and I'm sure several students considering how much academia cares about their lives.

I have felt very accepted into Kapaun Mt. Carmel even though I had just moved there from South Korea. After being homeschooled since I could remember, it was very hard for me to adjust to school life, but thanks to the teachers, I passed my first year at Kapaun with flying colors! Kapaun has truly given me all the resources to succeed in life and I feel more than ready to strive for my dream of becoming a nurse!
In my years of attending Kapaun Mt. Carmel, I would say that, for the most part, I enjoyed my time. The large majority of Kapaun's teachers have the students' best interests at heart and want to see them succeed in the future. Kapaun also boasts a very friendly environment and tight-knit community, which has been supported in part through the various ways students can get to know each other, even if they are several grades apart. However, I would like to see more academically challenging classes, such as AP courses. Kapaun is a bit behind when it comes to the amount of AP classes it offers, although the number has increased over the years
