Kammerer has been great for our 6th grader (heading into 7th this year). His teachers are very responsive and accommodating to our needs and questions. There are several sports and recreational oppurtunities for learning enrichment. And as a parent, I love that he is developing relationships w a diverse group kids and adults. Several kids from his elementary school (Norton Elementary) are there with him too. Enough familiarity w the perfect mix of new!

My experience was pretty average. I did enjoy it, despite only being there for one year. I had transferred to Jefferson county in 8th grade, so I was a new kid. Everyone was curious about me, and since the classes were in groups of the same people, I got to know everyone really fast. I like the idea of teams, but I think there should be more classes that are separate from the team, in order to prepare students for high school. The administration tried their best, and my teachers were all petty good. What they could have done better is be more open. They put me in the honors program just because I was a transfer, and that has held me back in high school. Try to accommodate for students needs better, please.
Good school, good teachers, good location, good food, good buildings, good infrastructure, average community interaction, good everything.
