Kalamazoo Christian High School Reviews
Rating 4.16 out of 5 73 reviews
Although from the outside, the school looks rather bland, it really is the people and experiences that come from the wonderful four years spent there. Even though Kalamazoo Christian is a small school, there are many activities that are available each semester. I engaged in basketball, tennis, theater, band, and the National Honor's Society. The teachers really get to know you and they want you to succeed. I made many memories in that building: Good and bad memories, but I would never change them. Kalamazoo Christian is a tremendous experience.
At Kalamazoo Christian High School, I have been equipped with the skills necessary for my next steps in life. Not only have I been given the academic skills but I was able to grow in my faith along the way. Being able to be in a place where I can confidently share my belief without getting judged. Some of the things I would like to see changed are more involvement of our Christian faith in our academics and to have more bible classes offered. I do not have many or any complaints and am very thankful to have spent my past four years of high school at Kalamazoo Christian.
I loved my time at KCHS, the teachers pushed me both academically and spiritually. I was prepared for my college classes and had a good worth ethic from my high school experience. I loved how all the teachers knew everybody and were always willing to help you with another project for another class. The sports teams were always really good and there were plenty of clubs to be involved in as well. I like the trips that they have available for students to take during the interim and the class bonding trip that happens at the beginning of the year. The sense of community is one thing that I think stands out to me the most. I will always be a proud Comet!
