Kakiat Elementary School Reviews

1 review
Kakiat is ok essentially. The middle school division is a lot better than the elementary, mainly because it's much more structured. The teachers know what they're aiming for, and their whole years have been planned out for mostly reasonable things, and student-teacher communication it decent. The elementary division seems to run mostly on what the teacher WANTS to do. For example, my 5th grade teacher was more of a writer, and so she expected us to be the same. As a result, science and math was exempt from us, and a handful of us decided to learn abroad, come together, and teach each other. I will say, the lack of learning in the classroom did help us to learn how to work out of school, for the sake of passing. This was not in one classroom, but happened abroad the entirety of the elementary. The food at the school is absolutely atrocious, as the majority of the 7th grade doesn't even get up to buy lunch anymore. The after school activities are decent, and, that's about it.
