very typical school for eastern NC. Leaders do the best they can with the funds given - probably not as academically strong as schools from northern states.
The Principal is very attentive and will take time to speak with you, and help with issues that can't be otherwise resolved. The guidance counselors will always assist when asked. The Registrar is top notch - comes in on weekends to take care of paperwork for seniors! Staff are hard working and most likely not outwardly appreciated enough by the majority of students and parents.

What I like most about my High School is that they are very diverse. Students there don't feel exclusive, they have activities for almost everyone based on their talents. The learning experience is very high-quality, that's always a plus. The school has an adaptable environment, for example, I recently moved to North Carolina during my senior year, everything was different to me the culture, the environment, and the people but everyone at Rose was so understanding. The reason why I wouldn't give them 5 stars is that there is always room for change and though it isn't set in concrete or I haven't designated the change it's there.
I like that it wasn’t just one sided big on sports or big on academics, but wonderful in both. I would like to see better facilities brought to the campus for the students and also for staff. Sports was a big deal for the school seeing other schools in the county were very close and we all were very competitive. I also think the dress code policy should be changed because they’re are students who get bullied for their clothing and they aren’t able to do anything about it because of their financial status.
