I love this school with all my heart. This review has been drafted with many metaphors, likening this school to a foundation that I miss as I build more levels and grow farther away from it in the steady course of life, but I could not find the correct words to explain how important this school has proven to be in my life. Granted, I haven't even graduated yet, but I've spent almost 1 year away from this school and it feels like ages. There are so many things people will miss by just going to a public school. Of course there are sacrifices, one might say, that one might make to go to JMS, but it is nothing like the things that JMS gives to the students that walk through its halls. It instills values, knowledge, empathy, servitude, critical thinking and above all, it challenges and edifies the student day after day. I believe this is what a school should strive to achieve.

The school has amazing people and offers a one-no-one relationship with friends and administration. However, there are many unnecessary and archaic rules like no shorts during the school day and no cell phone access. They also offer limited college prep material. Despite this, they are looking to improve. The school was recently fully accredited and the administration are currently working towards building a gym.
This school is a hidden gem in the rural fields and pastures of Juniata County. This fully accredited K through twelve Christian school brings honor to God by educating with excellence and nurturing students' God given abilities. They partner with families, churches and the community to raise up men and women with a biblical worldview who love Christ and serve others.
