Overall, the school is pretty good. I am a senior here and have attended for all 4 years, and my brother attended Judson as well. The athletics department is very good, with a state championship for girl’s basketball and state semi finalists for Football. The academics are decent and many of the teachers are astounding. The fine arts and journalism programs are AMAZING! Both are award winning, with our theatre ranked 3rd at national competition last year, state winning UIL marching band, and award winning choirs as well as a nationally ranked journalism program, There is much to be a part of and succeed in at Judson.

I love my school and I enjoyed the years I spent there. It is filled with teachers who are passionate about their job and teachers who desire to help students. This school has amazing counselors who will direct them and get them in the right direction. The school spirit is outstanding. If you’re an athlete, or your child is an athlete then this school is for you. The athletic department is filled with dedicated coaches who care. Principal Hernandez is a phenomenal principal who cares about his students and staff. In conclusion, I enjoyed my years at Judson High School! I’ve built relationships with great people and they’ve been there for me ever since I was a freshman.
Judson is infamous for having a bad reputation, and it sure lives up to it. Half of the students don't want to be there and put no effort into school; they hang out in the hallways, bathrooms, and the cafeteria chatting it up and doing things like smoking, drug dealing, and making out. There are a few students that genuinely care about their studies but I'd say only about 20% of the students are like that. Most of the teachers are only there for the money and can't teach at all, and the administration never listens to the concerns of the student body; they even went as far as locking all bathrooms and turning off the water during finals week. Judson is a zoo, but boy do they have an excellent sports program (the only thing they're good for)!
