I may not be as objective as I wish to be in writing this review. After all, I'm not an expert in education and am simply conveying my experience in this school in the four years I've been here.

The most positive aspect of this school has to be it's extracurricular activities, where students are able to join as many events as they please.
College prep is also decent, the staff is able to inform students about their choices and the application process works.
Okay safety, the campus has on par security and there isn't many fights
The school feels underfunded due to questionable renovations.
The administration seems to make questionable decisions and enforce seemingly arbitrary rules.
The quality of the teachers is inconsistent at best.
This is probably a country wide issue but the school food is terrible.
Most of the sports programs could improve.
Finally, the school culture is some of the worst I can imagine.
Overall 4/10

after attending the same school from 2nd grade through 8th grade, we moved from Ohio to Texas and I started my first year in high school in a whole new state, whole new school and no friends. it was the best decision my parents made for me and my brother. The Texas school was far more advanced and offered a lot more opportunities. And they were and continue to be helpful and understanding with my younger brother has Autism and will have to continue without me next year.
Jourdanton High School is an amazing school to attend. I have attended this school since kindergarten, and I have grown into a wonderful and brilliant young lady. I will now be an upcoming senior willing to graduate, and pursue my dream college Texas State. Throughout my high school years I have participated in various sports, and all which have made me have love for the game. I recommend Jourdanton to any parent who wants their child to attend an excellent school and give their child the education they desire.
