A great school with a good sense of student pride. While beetdigger is an unconventional mascot that wont stop us from boasting our colors every day! The teachers along with the administration work hard for us to have a good experience. One of the only downfalls of Jordan Highschools is the fact that often times there are a lot of cliques that make it hard to get out there. Other than that it is a great school with tons of extra curricular activities and an added benifit of being a technologically advanced school. It is also located in one of the safest neighborhoods in the entire state which is a huge benifit.

I love Jordan high school so much! I love all our teachers, friends, culture, and school spirit. I will forever be a beetdigger! They have really taken action when it comes to our safety. I love all our creativity and fun that we have there and how they let us have our input on things. Every single school event is student run so it apples to people our age. A lot of people tend to leave campus for lunch. Which can be a fun adventure sometimes.
I enjoyed going to Jordan High School. I felt like I was progressing towards a sustainable goal and not just stuck learning subjects there. The teachers are caring and motivated to help the students around them. Besides a caring staff, a few changes need to be made. Litter everywhere, needs to be picked up. School lunches portion sizes are for a child, you rarely feel full. Also vending machines are all junk food.

Finally, school threats. There are better precautions than just locking the doors on the outside so the individual has to enter through the front. Kids have classes that are outside of the school so if a lock down were to ensue, they wouldn’t be able to find shelter quickly or at all. Classes should be taught how to defend themselves if a classroom is broken into; huddling in a corner won’t protect you for long. I want to make sure the school is as safe as it can be without being too inconvenient for the students education as it was for me.
