I have had an overall decent time with Jones County High school. The worst that's ever happened is a few fights here and there. The teachers are always nice, even though some of the teachers are a little hard-headed and hard to deal with. the bathrooms for the most part are clean. The only thing ill say about them is that they do not flush very well and sometimes you can't get them to flush even after a few tries. The food isn't the best but it's plenty good enough for free food.
Jones county high is a good school. Like the town, the culture is very conservative. I feel as if the staff cares about the students, but this school is severely lacking in diversity both in student life and staff.
I love jones county high school because it is'nt just a school its a family. This high has so much to offer to everyone you'll never feel left out. Pep rally's and homecomings are always the best and most exciting. Class are well ordered and very up to date. The staff is well oriented with its students and cares about our well being. my overall rating JCHS would be a 10/10 for the love and support that you would'nt receive any where else.
They started to upgrade all the sports like the track and the gymnasium, not just football for once.
Jones County High School offers so many opportunities in the career field you desire. they offer pathways into graphic design, education, nursing, business, and so many more. This school also has many sports teams so you can join any you like. This is a great school and i'm happy i will be graduating from this school.
Awesome school. My favorite thing is that it felt like home. We were all family and we did our best to help each other.
Jones county is a good place to learn! the work is not hard and theres a lot of people to get alone with.
Jones county high school is a wonderful high school. It felt like home and like i had a family at school also. Jones county high school supports anything that you are interested in and want to try. Jones county high school has expand in all educational ways.
We love jones county school systems in Gray,GA. They are all about the student and doing whatever it takes to help them succeed!! They are academically above some of the other surrounding counties and sports oriented. Teachers and principals are amazing!! So glad we moved here!!
Teachers are the most important part of any student's educational career. At Jones County High School, as well as other schools around the country I am sure, teachers are being treated like children and made to conform to a standardized teaching method. While I can see why this may benefit some students, this is a detriment to many students educational careers. Furthermore, the standards for being accepted into higher level and "college-level" classes are so low. This allows for those who just want free college credit to bring down the academic rigor and thus the higher-level students are at a disservice. While I had many issues with how Jones County High School was ran, I was taught by some of the most compassionate and devoted teachers I have ever been taught by. These few exceptional teachers, some of whom are leaving because of the hoops they must jump through, are what made my high school experience worth something. Overall, JCHS is an average institution with a few flaws.
It was a nice experience the school had upgraded all facilities and has locked down on all school policies to make sure the environment is safe for us as well as others. We have many clubs and academic programs that’s need to be updated and helped out more but other than that it is a nice school with a nice system behind it.
As a senior of Jones County High School I can say that my high school experience was pretty average. Although I do wish that they would be more enthusiastic towards other sports other than football and I wish they would have more activities for seniors. Jones County should also let freshman know how important it is to get involved in clubs because it would be extremely beneficial towards earning scholarships.
The teachers at Jones County High School are all hardworking and care about their students' education. They push us to work hard and help if there is every any confusion. The non-teaching staff are also very kind and helpful. A change I would wish to see is better funding for smaller clubs such as the Drama club, Art club, Future Farmers of America, and many more.
It is in a good and safe area and it has some teachers that are really good, but sometimes the administration feels like they are biased towards certain students.
Jones County had renovations, which are very good and appreciated, but the funding is not administered equally and the way the school is ran is not efficient.
A great community involved High School. Need to spread the money across the school instead of being heavy towards one activity or another.
Jones county is a pretty good school. The people for the most part are alright, there are some exceptional teachers, but the food isn’t very good. They’re working on it though and it’s getting better.
