I really enjoy how accepting Joliet Central is, compared to other schools staff and students alike show true character. The staff especially made me feel very safe and cared for, I've personally made great long lasting relationships with some of my teachers for which I am extremely blessed for. However as much as I'd like to make Central out to be a utopian school, the great downfall I've seen is violence among peers. Although I know fights and drama happen at any school, Central had an overwhelming amount at times. I would love there to be a change in the escalation of violent action among my peers.
I love the diversity that my school demonstrates and all of the opportunities they provide here. My school does a great job at making sure students are well informed about extra curriculars, sporting events, financial aid, scholarships, grants, and more!
Overall, my four years at Central were great! I really enjoyed my time there. Although the school is not 100% perfect, it still is a good school. It is all about how you make it and your interactions with people there. I think the school does a fantastic job of not letting any child feel left out because there is so much to do as far as sports, clubs, and committees.
