I am a freshman here and love it so far! To those who want to say stuff about ECA, go do it somewhere else. ECA is a place filled with happiness and laughter. Everybody is so close and there is much less drama than regular schools. They teachers actually care about not just themselves but about you also. If you do something wrong, action will be taken. To people who think you just come here to escape traditional high schools, you're wrong. The people who come here really do care about their education. Teachers don't teach for their own personal gain, they do it for us. Sure, we don't have a great sports team. But who cares? We have excellent staff and excellent students. That's the stuff that matters.

I really love the fact that this school is a chance in which students, as they obtain their high school diploma, are able to receive their Associates degree as well. Some people can't really afford college or university and enrolling here gives them a chance to get their education with financial help. There's not much that I feel should change; only that there are more activities to bring the school together, since most of the time the students are solely focused on their education. School pride and spirit are important as receiving the education. Another thing that should also change is that there are no sports. Just as this school focuses on their education, it should also focus on some of the students interests which is sports. Some students need financial help with their education but don't enroll because their passion for a sport isn't exercised there.
This school really prepares you so that you will excel in upper-level college classes. My experience here has been stressful, but I have to say worth it!
