Johnson Middle School Reviews

Johnson Middle School. A school focused on preparing their students to succeed at the next level. Johnson has state of the art facilities that are used daily by students. Coaches from sports teams are encouraging to introduce new sports to the students. Johnson keeps their school culture alive with monthly pep rallies, where cheerleaders and the drama team perform for the school. Johnson also has their annual teachers versus students softball game which is a great tradition and event for students to bond with teachers.
Johnson Middle School. One of the most diverse schools in the county, ranging from all different ethnicities and backgrounds. For a middle school, Johnson recently built brand new STEM facilities and a brand-new $3 million gym. As a middle school, I remember first stepping into the brand new rooms in awe. Being privileged enough to experience a brand-new environment in a school setting was a wonderful experience and something that I never took for granted. Overall, Johnson Middle School is a very strong school.
Both of my kids have gone to school there and both were in special education one is still there and the teachers are great the principal and vice principal are awesome the office staff is amazing it is basically the school to be at in our area.
Most of the school culture is friendly and out-going, but some people use profanity and act inappropriately on campus, depending on different classes. Lunches are alright, but lunch lines are terribly long, reaching all the way to the girl's bathroom and student window. Students are encouraged to discuss any problems through the student window, teachers, and staff. While academics are okay, it would be better if lessons were more in-depth and if homework was more meaningful to increase academics. Overall the culture and encironment of the school is okay, but there are too many students to handle and little challenge or skills introduced for classrooms to be effective.
