I attended Sol C. Johnson High School all four years of my high school career. WHen taking classes, the teachers were always there to help. They always wanted students to get ahead of their work. Secondly, students were never filled with work. Students had time to have fun with school activities such as pep rallies, football and basketball games, clubs and organizations, and so much more. Counselors were ensured that students were on the right track when completing classes.
While Johnson hasn't always had the best reputation, the school is gaining a better one across academics, athletics, and activities. The school features a small IB program that most alumni are proud to have been a part of. In terms of athletics, the school's girl's basketball dominates the state with back to back championships. Many other sports also perform fairly well, including softball and baseball. Johnson also is home to many artistic, academic, and business-related clubs with more being added each year. The staff and administration are overall very dedicated to the school, and do what they can to promote safety, education, and fun at all times.
My experience was very different, though it had helped me be the person I am growing to be in the near future. They would never leave a child behind on trying to archive their goal for anything that would either deal with college or going to any branch in the military. It's more about the connect the students and the staff have made within my years, they show that in life you will make mistakes to know where you are going , then will help gain you into how to manage it in a way of protection yourself in many problems.
