I have attended this school since my first year of my post-secondary education. This school has been progressing slowly in equality such as putting a dress code on males as much they put on females. But overall, there is no diversity in gender and having bathroom that include non-binaries. This community has its flaws but seem to enhance their involvement in inclusion and participation for all groups.
Education-wise, as of now, it is very insightful and provides great information that'll prepare me for my future. For example, it comes with a program that helps prepare the student with the IB program, known to be notoriously difficult. There are many opportunities for a student such as myself to engage in various club activities and even more among the oncoming years. Many of the staff are very kind, providing an experience that allowed me to ease into a higher level of education rather easily. While I disagree with how some of the extracurricular programs are taught, I understand that if I were the understand how it is taught, I would benefit greatly. The school, for the most part, is full of positive spirit and it encourages me to expand my education even further.
I like the diversity of the school as well as the atmosphere. No matter what, I always feel welcome and at home when i’m in the JHS building or any related event. Bleed Blue!
