Although my experience with the school has been okay, the connections I see between parents and the school at lower levels are absolutely abysmal. Parents are giving their children no drive to succeed, and it's causing some students to be especially troubled. Establishing a greater connection between the school and the parents would have a positive effect on the school environment. The school is also a bit behind the times.

Johnsburg is a small school and one thing I really liked was that with it being small, everyone had the opportunity to do the things they wanted. If you wanted to play a sport, you didn't have to try out to make it on the team because the small number of students. I would choose this school again if I could do it all over again because I like being in a small school and it was easier to make friends.
There are a variety of extracurricular activities that any student in grades ninth through twelfth grade can do. There is a yearbook class in which students make the school yearbook and there are several others that you can join. The clubs and organizations are fun and you learn different skills that are important.
