I am a Freshman at Johns Creek High School. I was born and raised in this community, but the high school wasn't always there. Johns Creek is relatively new, but very well functioning.
I have been at Johns Creek for a little over a semester and it has welcomed me so much. Students as well as teachers are so helpful and inviting! I am always involved in the varsity tennis program at Johns Creek and it is fun great!
My overall experience has been phenomenal!
Review Johns Creek High School
Johns Creek High School is a great environment for learning. Most of the faculty and staff really care about the success of the students. It is a competitive academic environment that prepares students for college. My classmates are kind and respectful. The student body is accepting and active.
There is a variety of clubs and teams. Students can even create their own clubs. Unfortunately, the school and staff seem to care more about sports than other activities such as dance or debate. Sports get priority on scheduling and facilities.
During my time at Johns Creek, I have developed great relationships with several teachers. I have taken advantage of some amazing opportunities.
I have had issues with the attendance office worker. There are volunteers working in attendance, but if there as a mistake in your attendance you have to work directly with her. She is impatient and rude. She does not belong in a school that prides itself on service and excellence.
Johns Creek High School is a great learning environment for high schoolers. It is also extremely safe. There is a wide variety of clubs, organizations, and sports to get involved in. The academic environment is highly competitive, but all the students and teachers are very welcoming. Despite this, Johns Creek is quite lacking in the math and science departments. Few teachers can actually teach. Most don't. Overall, Johns Creek High School is a wonderful school and has many positive aspects.
