It was my pleasure to be a high school graduate from John W. Hallahan. I love all the wonderful faculties who have taught me beyond the course given to them. I also love the sisterhood. I met many intelligent and humorous girls at this school. Most importantly, I created a Korean Culture club in this school when I was a freshman. This club was supported by the whole school throughout those four years as the club president. I love the school community and the people. In addition, I am a big fond of all the traditions that have been passed down for years and years like the Hallahan Day and the Fountain Jump!

Hallahan wasn't my first choice, the school quickly won me over. Not only were the academics, activities, and sports extensive, but the people in the school were extraordinary. There has never been a dull moment for me at Hallahan. There is something for everyone to, if there isn't you can always get a teacher on board and do it yourself. We have so many clubs to choose from that will satisfy nearly all of your interests. The diverse student body is highlighted throught the year with these clubs. Hallahan has culture clubs like the Black Student Union, Asian Culture Club, and the Celtic Club. It is also celebrated outside the clubs with school wide activities, bake sales, and multiple appreciation days. Even though Hallahan wasn't my first choice, I've met some of the best most supportive people at this school. I've met best friends who felt like I've known them for years, and have worked with faculty and administration that care for their student's wellbing and happiness.
I am currently enrolled in Hallahan. I am senior preparing for college. I have attended this school since freshman year. This school was not my first choice; however, I am glad that I chose this school. I met my wonderful friends that inspire me to be the best version of myself and to strive for excellence. I love the teachers that work at my school. They are always supportive and understanding of any situation. Their ultimate goal is to ensure we leave the classroom attaining knowledge; nonetheless, it's not their only goal. They put their students' needs above all else, which I appreciate. The overall environment is positive and uplifting. I could not have asked for a better high school experience than the one gifted to me at this amazing school.
