I moved for the first time and transferred to Hoggard as a rising Junior. Expecting the transition to be rather difficult, I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up liking Hoggard better than my old high school. Overall, I have had challenging classes with outstanding teachers. I was able to find friends pretty quickly as almost everyone is extremely nice!

In the past four years, Hoggard has been the light of my life. The opportunities I have received though this school could never be achieved anywhere else. I have had the opportunity to make fun fundraisers for the school to enjoy, give tours to newcomers, talk to the freshman during their orientation, and give the morning announcements. This was all thanks to the amazing Student Council Association offered at Hoggard. Mrs. Fersinger is an amazing teacher and SCA coordinator. I definitely recommend joining Student Council and attending Hoggard.
I have been a part of this school since 2016. I am now a senior. What I like about Hoggard High School is the athletic programs and the wide variety of education that is spectacular with such great staff. The food here isn't the best but it gets me through the day and its filling. The environment is safe sometimes but not all the time because there's been so many fights and sometimes dangerous people. But overall for the past 4 years, Hoggard has been a life changing experience and I would not have it another way.
