Exceptional faculty that care about student success. They strive to promote a safe learning environment and encourage students to work hard. A very diverse and inclusive school that offers students the ability to grow and learn. This school provides a wide variety of clubs, organizations for students to be involved in such as Keyettes, an all girl volunteer club, and the National Honor Society. Both of these prepared me for future leadership roles in college and my career. Overall, I am thankful to have attended Tucker High School. Go Tigers!
It is a very neat place, especially since they rebuilt the building during Covid-19 and when most kids were in online school. I like the environment and the events they hold, like cultural events. They allowed peoples voices to be heard and they make us feel included. Some students and teachers made the school years extremely difficult to get through, but most people were nice. There was difficulty in learning when teachers would leave their job or we’d have multiple subs teaching us instead of actual professional teachers; but I hope that’s fixed by next year when Covid-19, transferring, & pregnancies aren’t in the way of students learning.
JRT is a great school. Known for its diversity, this school allows students to become friends with people of all backgrounds. Tucker also has three specialty centers which allows a select amount of students to experience education in a different way. Every teacher that I’ve had these past four years is amazing, and all the faculty and staff at Tucker are friendly. It’s very easy to get involved with extracurriculars because there are so many, and it’s easy to make friends!
