John Paul II Catholic School is by far the best in the Low Country. It has very good faculty and overall support system for students and parents that only has their best interest at the forefront. The schools academic and sports programs are above par giving every student an opportunity to develop their potential to be the best. Most important, it is true to its mission.
John Paul II Catholic School educates students of all faiths in a caring, Christ-centered environment. It prepares students to be scholars with a soul in accordance with the traditions of the Catholic faith and through the intentional commitment to its core values of service, high expectations, innovation, excellence, leadership, and discipleship. More power to JPII CATHOLIC SCHOOL!

Overall, John Paul II is a great school. The staff and students are very close and it is a very welcoming environment; everyone is like a family. Apart from this, the school's academics are great, as are their athletic department. All teachers and coaches put forth a great effort to see their students/athletes excel in whatever they do. School is always put first, even before athletics. The principal, Mr. McCarthy listens to the student's opinions and values them. A special thing about JPII's academics is that students have the opportunity at the end of everyday (except Friday's) to catch up on school work or get help from teachers. This time does not interfere with sports, so many student athletes appreciate this. All the changes that I could think of are already on the way! It is a great school and is on the right path to be even more successful than it already is.
With multiple children needing a high quality and challenging education that meets a variety of criteria John Paul is exceeding far beyond my expectations. The teachers are exceptional and encourage my kids to reach their greatest potential while also exposing them to new opportunities they did not even know existed. It goes without saying, this is the best school for my kids and the best use of our resources that will live with them forever. I am so thankful my kids are lucky enough to live here to receive such a exceptional education tied to their faith. We are blessed to be JP2 Warriors!
