My experience at John Muir High has just been amazing. The support system is great and every staff is friendly. The way various teachers teach is great and if you are unable to understand they do not mind find other ways for one to understand the concept . The school spirit at John Muir High is indescribable, we have this very famous event in our area that we call the "Turkey Tussle" , basically it is a huge football game against our rival school Pasadena High (phs) where we play for the bell... cough cough Muir always wins because we are just great!

I love the opportunities at John Muir and the access to resources. There are dual enrollment classes, SAT Prep, and college and career classes. We have a business, engineering, and arts academy. These academies expose us to different career pathways and help us get connected with professionals in those careers. There are many different clubs you can join and you can make your own club. Also, we have a variety of sports and anyone can join. The coaches of our sports are very helpful. They help us develop into better versions of ourselves. In addition, they guide us into becoming a better people. They are very supportive and want the best for us. Our administration and faculty are really good and push us academically. Also they encourage us to be active in our community.Overall John Muir is a really good school and I recommend it.
John Muir is a very distinctive high school that gives their students different opportunities and education rights. The school is different and considered a good opportunity that many don't see. I prefer this school because it has teachers that care about students success and their education and opportunities that not many schools offer, like college fundamentals and college resources.
