At John Marshall, I truly felt like I was seen and noticed by my peers and teachers. I have had a constant support system at all times throughout my now almost 4 years of high school which has helped me tremendously. Being in Band, AP classes, and other communities of students has also helped me reach out and meet new people from my community and honestly, I don’t know what my high school experience would be without band and the friends I’ve made along the way. Overall, my experiences at John Marshall High School have been very positive and the support I received throughout my soon-ending high school journey has been plentiful.
One of the best tips I can offer for physical distancing is to take some time to show yourself love. I know that sometimes we can all get so caught up in helping others that we may forget to take time for ourselves. The need for physical distancing and self care is evident in all of our lives, so why not combine the two. Give yourself an evening of pampering to reflect on your beauty and take some time to work on your self confidence. Be ready to enter society with a deeper appreciation of YOU!
They are bringing everyone together from the community. Parents are involved constantly. They are expanding with everything for everyone. Plants, classes, arts, music, technology, diversity.
