One of the best tips I can offer for physical distancing is to take some time to show yourself love. I know that sometimes we can all get so caught up in helping others that we may forget to take time for ourselves. The need for physical distancing and self care is evident in all of our lives, so why not combine the two. Give yourself an evening of pampering to reflect on your beauty and take some time to work on your self confidence. Be ready to enter society with a deeper appreciation of YOU!

Overall, it is a decent school with lots of diversity. The main problem with JM is the students. Most teachers are amazing and care a lot about the students, but there are many kids that are disrespectful and/or violent. Recently, the administration has been reorganized and that has helped the school quite a bit this year. There are many class options and the honors/AP classes are the best overall.
Throughout my years at John Marshall, I have always felt that I'm getting the most out of my education. The teachers that I have had have given me nothing but support and acceptance, while helping me learn to grow in both my academic and personal strengths. Every staff member I've had experiences with has contributed to my achievements throughout high school. In addition to this, the atmosphere in John Marshall is overall inspiring. Year after year, I have always been pushed to be better and to achieve my goals by everyone around me at this school. The staff and environment of John Marshall is the reason I am able to go on to pursue my dream career.
