What I like about Marshall High School was that the people around me was so supportive at what I did, no matter what I did they were with it. I'm also an athlete so they were supporting no matter how far the games is they were there to support. It's certain things they can get better at like bringing more kids in the school because it's only 300 kids in Marshall.
I attended Marshall from my freshmen yr to my senior year with a little over 1000 students. They have great teachers that will teach if you want to learn and would stay after hours if you need the extra help. I was kind of a nerd so i stayed in the books most of the time. Majority of the staff and student body were African-American, with a few Caucasian , Latin, and Asian teachers. Every once in a while i would be at a sports event because they have a great sports program, at the time our main dominant sports were football and basketball. At the time the schools reputation was put on the line due to fights breaking out because of students with gang affiliation. i graduated in 2008 and i haven't stepped foot on Marshall grounds since but i hear its changed for the better. Overrall i had my share of fun at Marshall
My Experience At Marshall Metropolitan High School For 4 Years Was Absolutely Helpful Because Most Of The Teachers Shows Effort And Patients Even Though Students Are Being Disrespectful While A Speaker Is Talking. I Would Honestly Like To See A Change In Behavior's From The Students Not All Bad But I'll Say At least 95% Are Dangerous When It Comes To Fighting. It Should Be A Speaker That Comes Everyday To Motivate Us To Give Us Speeches Maybe That Would Bring Everyone Together.
