I like that they give students the best education that they can provide. They also do a great job of helping students and preparing students for their next steps in life. I wish that my school helped notify students a lot more on classes that provide a lot more opportunity and preparation for collage, or other careers.
what I like about John Glenn is the teachers they are personable and relatable . Your mental health is important to them . What I would change about John Glenn is the amount of fights at school.
I like the atmosphere at Glenn. It's very welcoming and everyone there from the teachers to the coaches wants to see you succeed in one way or another.
This school has a very diverse group when I went there. Although i enjoyed my experience I feel as if they did not prepare me for the university life. I did participate in sports however I will say that it was not a very good experience. I enjoyed wrestling because we won and the coaching staff was very good at what they did. However, participating in football here made me lose the love of the game. We didn’t win, and I just felt as if the school support was not there.
I feel like this school is very welcoming and accepting in their students and how diverse it is. The staff have always been kind to me and always have something positive to say. I do think they need to be more welcome for gender fluid individuals and create a unisex bathroom but I have heard that it is in the near future that they will have them. I hope that is true.
I liked the culture at John Glenn. For me personally, I enjoy being there because I know I will always have staff and peers to support me. However, I did not like the lack of effort some students around me gave.
I liked the prep rallies and sport games. I wish some teachers actually cared to help you and there wasn't any bullying with anyone.
Generally, my experience thus far has been good. I liked how friendly the teachers are they are always ready to lend a hand in anyway they can. The students are energetic and unique. They are quite honest, and are always willing to lend a hand. The schools counselling office also provides the student with lots of resources such as scholarship search engines to assist with tuition. Setting up meeting with counselors is relatively easy. There are tutors available to help with homework and topics you don't quite understand. The school's family resource center helps students from low income family to get access to some basic necessities they made need. Although sometimes the students and teachers do experience some technical difficulties technology . To sum it up, I quite enjoy school, and I hope that soon I will be able to go back to school .
Great teacher with good clubs and and education is pretty good. Quite a few of the students don't care very much and their discipline is a bit lacking at times. The best thing, however, is that I have said every single fault I can think of in the entire school. 9/10
I had some amazing teachers at John Glenn. They truly care about their students and want them to succeed.
I think very highly of this school and all it has provided for me. Although it may get a bad reputation by some, if you get to know the community created within it, you will fall in love with JG. They have made my 4 years in high school something that I will never forget.
Glenn offers a diverse selection of advanced, AP, and online programs for students to consider. Depending on your relationship with the staff members and peers, as well as your preference for the classes you're enrolled in, your overall experience may vary.
John Glenn High School is an interesting place to learn. With immaculate staff and teachers who truly seem to care about students well-being and future(s), Glenn is a place to feel yourself. Some issues are the lack of money filtered in, caused by the state of Michigan that does not allow for the full potential of students as well as the best interest of clubs, sports, food and such. Sometimes there is a lack of communication between students needs to the administration. Past administration has done shady things such as ignore ideology of parents/students, rip off other schools, drain Glenn of money as well as attempt to dismember the staff from the inside. Some amazing staff members have left since 2019 (the year I graduated) due to the administration. Academically, Glann focuses on adversity and barriers that many schools do not touch upon. Clubs, activities and sports could be better if there was money or proper coaches and leaders.
I transferred to Glenn my Junior year, we went through a couple of different principals and one being a prejudice board member. It was okay if you found your few teachers that actually cared about their job and the students! Toward my Senior year, we got a principal who understood us and treated us with respect which was very nice.
Being a part of John Glenn has been a great experience and the best four years.
The staff is a tremendous help and always have your best interest. I enjoyed my teachers and staff i encountered. I also met some of my good friends that I see will be lifetime friends.
During my last year has been the most unique experience of a life time being quarantined. My teachers reached out to my family and I to check on us through this trying time.

My experience at John Glenn have been a pleasant roller coaster. One thing that I like about John Glenn is that there were a couple teachers that really cared for students like their own child.
It was a great time with amazing teacher. I know personally some of the smartest kids I know graduated from John Glenn.
