Day in and day out we have amazing people making an impact on us, John Glenn is the place to be. The academics are terrific thanks to our teachers staying after school to help us or prepare us better for upcoming tests. Making sure we are prepared and excited to learn by making it fun and enjoyable. Our school makes sure each type of student is involved by creating a ton of clubs and activities. Our environment makes sure students have an opportunity to be the real them and have an amazing way to create bonds with each other that will last a lifetime. I met my best friend when I was a sophomore by being on the volleyball team. We grew inside and outside of the classroom and joined a variety of clubs. We got to make an impact on the people in our community by giving back to them. Whether it is reading to the elementary students, cleaning up our environment around us, to just being able to make someone smile. I am blessed to be apart of this school and it will forever be apart of me.

I love how supportive all the faculty is! Ms. Snively’s door is always open for personal or school problems. Mr. Frank cares about his students personal and academic futures more than any other teacher I’ve come across. They are just two that stand out to me the most, all of the teachers and staff I’ve encountered the past few years have been devoted, kind, and willing to do anything to help a student.
I've enjoyed my experience at John Glenn. It's one of the best high schools in its local area. There aren't many issues with fighting, bullying, or drug abuse - even though those still do happen on occasion. I've personally enjoyed every teacher I've had at John Glenn. All of them have cared about their students and none of them were teachers just for the paycheck.

The sports programs and fine arts programs are great too. John Glenn is one of the few schools in its area which has a string orchestra.

Bear in mind that even though JG is located in a college town of mixed political views, JG itself is mostly conservative. This is the general political view of most of the students and faculty. The current principal is conservative, sometimes visiting classrooms to discuss politics with the students.

I really appreciate JG's hard-working guidance office. On any day you can walk in and talk to a counselor without an appointment.
