I liked john f Kennedy because it is a diverse school. there was a lot of student from my community John F. Kennedy High School is a public high school located in Montgomery County, Maryland. Part of Montgomery County Public Schools, the school is within the census-designated place of Glenmont, although it has a Silver Spring mailing address. Opening its doors in 1964,[4] Kennedy High School was originally going to be called East Wheaton High School, but due to President John F. Kennedy's assassination in November 1963, the school was renamed after him.[5] It initially enrolled students in 7th through 10th grades,[6] but by the fall of 1966 changed to the now-standard 9th through 12th grade format, graduating its first full 12th grade class in the spring of 1967.

Kennedy's early history is that of an experimental, innovative school, with no school bells, broad lesson plans, innovative class subjects, pass-fail grading, an eight-period day with one free period during the day

Something that I Love about John F. Kennedy high school is their Academies that give you a head start on potential future careers, they have programs that teach you about business, health careers, teaching and much more! Kennedy also has a Very good AP and IB program which helps prepare you for college. Staff and teachers at Kennedy are very nice and polite and love working with their students to help them succeed. Something that Kennedy should work on is raising college prep awarness to its students so that they will be college ready. overall John F. Kennedy is an outstanding school.
John F. Kennedy High is like the typical high school yet it does have many rigourous classes. The school has practically every sport, like swimming or lacrosse so whichever you want to try, go for it! The cafeteria food isn't the healthiest but it does feed your grumbling stomach. Indians, ethiopians, asians, very few whites, blacks, and hispanics all go to school here and you can meet more friends along the way.
