I enjoy that John F. Kennedy High School is partnered with the Alamo Colleges to provide students the opportunity to be a part of the Early College High School Program. In this program, students are able to complete college courses for free to earn college credit and possibly graduate with an associates degree. The teachers at the school are honestly trying their best and do help students as much as possible so we are able to pass our classes and participate in extracurricular activities. I do wish the school had more clubs to join as the choices are very limited. I also would like to see change in how the school creates schedules and time frames.
John F kennedy high school has been the best school I've attended by far. When i first stepped on campus I felt a sense of family and togetherness that no other school I have attend could match. JFK, is also perfect school for anyone looking for resources to graduate, the school has helped me so much with scholarships and college applications. All together John F kennedy high school is an amazing school and I'm proud to be a JFK rocket.🚀
Throughout all four years of my time at John F. Kennedy high school I was a part of the Band program. Being a member of the Band program has taught me so many key aspects of working well with others and how to be a proper leader when I became Drumline Captain/Section Leader during my senior year. All of the teachers that I had throughout my four years at Kennedy were some of the most dedicated, responsible, caring, educated, and well-rounded educators I have had the honor to be instructed by. All of my academic success is due to the great teaching staff that I had access to at John F. Kennedy, as it was their special ways of teaching and understanding that helped me become the class of 2020 Salutatorian. Although there are many great aspects at John F. Kennedy high school I will admit that I would love to see a more equal amount of funding and shared respect towards other club activities and organizations with their needs and achievements instead of primarily focusing on major sports.
