I transferred from home-schooling to John.F Kennedy High School when I was a freshman and honestly that move was life-changing. Since transferring there I made so many new friends and even got to know some of the counselors (all of which are helpful, even the ones that weren't assigned to me at the time never hesitated to help me if I had a question to ask them). The staff is overall friendly, however if there are any issues students have with employees the Administration doesn't hesitate to investigate into the matter and takes students seriously, which I appreciate as a student myself.

Bullying, and the mental health of students is also currently important at Kennedy as well, and now as of 2019 students can take mental days off if they are distressed, in the same way they can take sick days off. I would definitely recommend John.F Kennedy High to anyone interested in enrolling!

Kennedy has great faculty that really put in the time and effort to support you. The school also offers two great programs, PACE and MaD, for more advanced students. The marching band is also accomplished and great for those who want to pursue their musical talents later in their career. If I were to change one thing about the school, it would be the rallies and the organization of the campus. The rallies take place outdoors and can be really chaotic. The campus is outdoors, which really makes the entire day more pleasant, but also makes getting from class to class somewhat difficult. It's not uncommon to have to walk the entire campus to get between classes.
One thing that i like about John F. Kennedy highschool is their counslers and sports. Like many others schools couslers played a huge role in pushing me foward as my academics is concerned. Taking to my Assigned cousler opened up many doors for me and also gave me a clear veiw on my future, the options I have and how they would effect my future for the better or worse. So if nothing else talk to a counsler any counsler! Ask questions, bug them! Thats what they are there for. Outside academics sports at John F kennedy highschool gave me a good sense of community and complimented my determination to keep going. Track can be active sport. Nonetheless there were some times were I was in my own way but i also had a supporting group of freinds to help me through it. So with that i say, Go Kennedy!
