I feel as if the teachers genuinely care about you and your future. What I really like is that the teachers also notice how hard you work as a individual and congratulate you on it. Previously being in a private, Catholic high school before going to Kennedy, the teachers really only paid attention and gave praise to that one kid who knew everything instead of looking at the gradual progress or decline of all their students and helping them or praising them. I honestly preferred Kennedy over the Catholic high school that I transferred out of that had this reputation of being the best. It really wasn't. Kennedy took the cake for that. Kennedy also does all it can to prepare students for college and it's definitely helpful and appreciated.

Overall my time in Kennedy was good. I really enjoy the time I spent here. I so many fun memory that Ill never forget. However I some problems that I had with the school. The bathrooms were not always in the cleanest. The food that was serviced here was sub par, some of the decks need to be cleaned from underneath. Sure there a lot of bad thing but there was also good things. The teachers were great. The majority of the teacher I had realy wanted to help me pass the class. Also the school would listen the student at times.
I had never heard of John F. Kennedy HS when I was applying to schools in 8th grade. A friend of mine mentioned it once, I got accepted and have attended all 4 years. This school wasn't my first, second or third option but I ended up really liking this school. I've made connections with a ton of my teachers, the staff here is great and I love the fact that parents are very involved in events. This school has experienced ups and downs but on the end everyone here is very loving and sticks together. The community is very tight knit and it really shows in this school.
