I liked the people and made many great friends at Kennedy! They also offer a good selection of AP courses and have done a lot to promote ICAN and help with college preparations. I did not like how the Volleyball program was run because everyone made the team, regardless of skill. This prevented me from getting play time and experience that could have helped me become a better play. I also don't like the lack of consistency in grading between classrooms of same class/different teacher. Some use standard based and some don't. The ones who use it do not even use it the same way so there is no consistency from class to class.

Kennedy High School was full of opportunities for everyone! Acedemics, sports, club involvement, show choir, band and college courses to keep everyone challenged and involved. Kennedy High School also prepared me for college and pushed me to find my interests in order to get me a head start on my college education while still a high school student! My school administration was point on and very involved.
The school is decently academic in terms of offering over 20 AP courses, along with regular courses. Though the school should add honors courses for students that want to be in an advanced/faster-pace version of a regular course, but don't want to deal with stress involving in AP courses.

The food needs some improvement considering an amount of people would bring their own lunches, or just drive to a fast food restaurant if they're upperclassmen.

The teachers are pretty nice, and often have the time to answer students' questions. Most of them teach in a pace where the students should be able to easily grasp the material.

There has been a problem with bullying every single year in the school; since there would be assemblies, homeroom meetings, or something that addresses bullying. Also a student has committed suicide due to bullying occurring in this school.

Overall, the experience is decent. Though it can definitely improve.
