I came to the US three years ago, and it was the high school that my actual counselour recommended me, so me and my brother joined it in 2017. I personally think it is a good high school, but most of the people from other places think it isn't just because the bad reputation from so many years ago. For me I feel safe at school, we have a lot of friendly securities that protect us, then we have cameras that cover the whole school and we have drills just in case something happen one day like fire or an active shooter in the school. The only thing I would change could be the food that we recieve in our lunch because it is not that healthy and we have a lot of athletes that need those healthy products, then the AC in some of our classes it is not that good and last I would change the materials that the teachers give in the school because sometimes we don't learn that much. The diversity in the school is nice, I have learned a lot from my friend countries and their cultures.

In my school there are a lot of things that I would like to change. For example, some teachers don't teach anything to the students or don't even try to make students want to study. Also, some teachers give a better treat to students born in the US, than to those who are not. Food is the most horrible thing of the schools. The meat, turkey or ham or bologne, taste like plastic. The cheese is complete plastic. The fruit and vegetables are used from one day to the other, so many times they are already rotten. It is not ususal taht they give fresh food. Also, in the cafeteria there is a lot of plastic thrown away, so the magnitud of the contamination is inmense. Instead of tryng to teach students the importance of take care of he planet, they teach students to contaminate the most possible. Students here are racist, anthipatic and very rude. They treat the others, the teachers and the cleaning-people as if they worked just for them. In overal, the school is very bad.
John E. Dwyer Technology Academy school had taught me a lot of lessons. It's basically about what you want to do and how are you going to strive for your greatness. If you're looking forward to reach your goal you need to stay on task. It taught me to focus on my work and lot of less friends so you can focus. Administrators are there for you when you need assistance, they are wonderful and always make sure you hear what you need to heard.
