You will find a few teachers who are willing to put more time into their students. However, I don’t feel that most teachers have enthusiasm for their job. The students have no school spirit, and there is a very toxic environment here. At my previous high school, everyone enjoyed taking part in school activities. It was an environment of learning as well as acceptance. At Kimball, there is an entirely different culture. At times, it feels like the student have more authority than the staff.

John C. Kimball High is a very diverse school that offers good education with devoted teachers. They offer excellent advanced courses that prepare students for both college and their AP exams. Kimball’s sports teams are thriving, however, their extracurriculars in clubs needs more members. Overall, this is a safe school with a very clean campus and awesome facility.
My experience at Kimball High has been quite interesting, varying from an array of emotions, that ranges from excitement upon entering this well sought after school to sheer disappointment.

As I've grown from a freshman to a senior I've learned to work hard and become fluid with change.

I've enjoyed great teachers and dealt with inconsistent ones but overall I'm happy with my experience.

If I could give advice to my school it would be to allow students to have off campus lunch, look into improving leadership, create a more upbeat culture to really have students become passionate about their school.
