It was not the best 4 years I expected it to be, it was a 6/10. I wish I went to another school if im being honest, the only good thing was meeting some of my friends and basketball.
John C. Fremont has amazing teachers that are there to show you how to work hard, but also show you how life works and are there supporting us emotionally and every way they can on a daily basis. The community of students is amazing; a diverse mixture of kids wanting to learn and grow with each other. We love to have many get together with both students and teachers and the pep rallies are amazing as we are all united. Although much can be said negatively about this school, you do not see what goes on in school, the unity, friendships, teams, and class happiness when all of us unite to do better. Many of our teachers teach us how to make a path for ourselves and work hard for our goals since most of them understand our struggle in growing up in a low-income community. We might not be shown s much, but I believe Fremont is an amazing school and would love for more people to see the greatness of the community in school with teachers, workers, administration, and children.
I had a pretty good experience with my school. The advisors were really understanding and were there to help you with everything you need. It was a welcoming place for all genders and races.
The school itself is pretty big. There are many clubs, within those clubs people become really close and it’s very easy to make friends. There are a couple fights in the school at times but never anything dramatic. Most of the students do get along just fine. Most of the teachers are also really nice, they will do anything to help you graduate and are very supportive, the coaches as well. The counselors are usually really busy but are very helpful also. The staff take in consideration your feelings when they see you don’t look okay. The school is a good safe place.
Fremont has a lot of classes to take. However, requirements are a bit iffy such as having to take 4 AP classes and 80 hours of community service. They expect ALL of us to go to college even though some of us does not want to go to that route. Overall, it is a pretty decent school.
Teachers were honest, always tried to look for the best, made sure you understood what you were learning. Everyone went above and beyond when it came to helping you with college
Great teachers who were helpful and supportive in preparing you for college and motivating you to do your best and what steps you can make to pursue your career dream. Counselors become best friends helping you academically and personally in whatever you need.
It’s a very good school. I really enjoyed going there for four years. I had the chance to make lots of friends. Many of the teachers are also helpful to their students
We are divided into small learning community schools which is good for the students who have decided their path. However, they won't let you take specific classes because you don't belong to the certain SLC. I find this unfair to the kids wanting to take honors in their year.
I like how my teachers try making sure that I am doing good in my classes. I really appreciate certain students and teachers for pushing me into trying my best and making sure I pass my class. Nor only them but I am also thankful for my junior and senior counselors. I would like to see a change in it by seeing better administrations. I do not it for it to be corrupt, and threaten us seniors on taking away our activities for younger student's actions. It is really stressing but I feel that the requirements that magnet has and senior requirements help us out for the real world and having an idea how life will really be. Completing community hours, science fair, service learning project, etc.
John C. Fremont Senior High School is a vgood school for extracurricular activities. However the academics aren’t so great but my high school experience was one to remember due to the clubs and sports I was involved in. I would recommend my high school to those who want to have a great experience. The academics aren’t so great, teachers don’t teach well.
Students there are pretty cool and they have many resources to help students. The teachers are nice as well as the staff.
Many people assume that just because this high school is in South Central, it's going to be bad. However, this school proved the complete opposite. Teachers, staff, students, etc. made my high school years unforgettable.
I love this school. Very big campus. Variety of different clubs. Teachers are very caring and understanding.
I was part of the Marching band, color guard, and the Academic Decathlon. I had a very good experience during my High School years.
Fremont is an educated school which the new admin has done very poorly to restrict students to get their on time. I may not agree with the new admin but the extracurricular activities offered are incredible although there needs to be made more announcements of which.
I have always had a hard challenges in my personal life with my family and honestly school was my escape and I am grateful for it. Because highschool shows and we become what we want for the rest of our lives.
