Many cynical comments are made about Connally. Some students don't have respect for others, bathrooms are trashed up,administrators work hard to enforce rules to keep students in check, and many say administration is adverse. Students fall under the bridge if another causes the wreck, that's why some have no motivation to become better. I look past that, classes and electives are enjoyable as it's also strenuous for our own good. In my core classes, teachers care for the students well being and help with our hardships. There's plenty of resources if the content doesn't click for us,such as tutorials twice a week, and google classroom resources. Here at Connally we have the only orchestra in the district! I've grown in this program because of the amazing director. She's pushed us since day one, allowing us to communicate our passion for music and how it helps our everyday life at Connally. Orchestra makes us feel like school's a second home instead of a mere routine we wake up everyday for.

My experience in this high school had its good sides and its bad sides, the good things about this school was most the teachers in this school were truly interested in getting us involved into our education and getting us ready for college. The students there weren't too bad but overall everyone respected each others space and whatnot. The things I would change would be the administration letting us have more fun events in school and out without as while I was there they wouldn't let us do nothing too fun which ruined the school spirit and vibe for the school especially the seniors. Connally does get put down a lot by other schools from being full of dumb people and stupid poor kids by the surrounding pfisd schools but within the walls at school we have a lot of world changing smart young adults here that are involved with many outside school activities such as marches and just being out spreading love and positivity. Our school may not be the best but we rather be here and stay here!
Out of all the schools I went to throughout my high school career I have to say that Connally high school was the most supportive and academically helpful. All my teachers are very devoted to helping each one of us students comprehend the knowledge that is being taught. Most importantly my most supportive person in the CAST office, Mr. Kelly has helped me decide on which career and college I plan to attend after I graduate and has given me great advice on how to succeed. I am grateful to have someone like him in my life. I love my school, I will miss it. Thank you to the Connally staff for always investing times to help me better understand the concept of each module and install discipline and instruction into my life!
