John B. Alexander High School is an overall great school. The only reason I decided to rank it a four-star school is due to the latency that comes with setting up a counselor meeting. It takes about a week for counselors to get back to you about problems with schedules and or personal conflicts that one may need to get off their chest. Despite this, John B. Alexander High is the home to so many awesome clubs, friendly teachers, and a motivating principal!

Alexander was my high school for 2 years until I moved cities due to my parents job. This school taught and encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone in many different ways. Alexander offers a wide variety of sports, extra curricular activities, and more to ensure the best for their students. My freshman year I was encouraged by a coach to sign up for softball, I signed up that day and to this day it is one of the best things that has happened. With his simple offer of wanting me to join made me want to explore the other options they had to offer. The overall community that it has is something hard for any other school to live up too. When I moved to Bogota,Colombia due to my dads job I was hoping that my new school would at closely live up to Alexander. It sadly did not, I was almost expecting too much due to the fact that I would go back and relive my experience a million times over again. Overall, my memories at Alexander will forever live on and I will forever be a bulldog!
This campus has made me open doors literally and figuratively to a better future! Everyday equates to a new lesson taught and a step further to your immediate and/ or lifelong goals. Teachers like Mr. Aguilar and Mr. Chavez make you want to strive for excellence and at times want to pull your hair out due to the myriad of information they present to you. Though these classes were rigorous at the time, these courses have prepared me for the workload colleges give their students and allowed me to find a studying method that works for my learning type.
