I love this school! We have four honor societies; my favorite one is the International Thespian Society which I joined my sophomore year. I've been in four theater events, I'm about to take their Theater Arts III, and I hope to try out for the One Act Play in 2019. The teachers are amazing here; they have all helped me so much. I've also helped out in other clubs including Interact Club and Student Council. The cafeteria and the library include bulldog items.

Alexander is a great school full of a diversity of excellent teacher and students. The curriculum at Alexander is right up there with the best in the state. Alexander is annually awarded and distinguished as one of the best schools in south Texas. The one downfall of it all would be the quality of the campus itself. Alexander High School is a couple years out dated and has multiple facilities throughout the school that need to be refurbished and maintained. Besides that fact, Alexander is the home of many great students that are heavily involved in extracurricular activities such as band, sports, choir, student council as well as may other welcoming clubs.
J B Alexander High School has great communication between school administrators and parents, and students with a good open door policy. They communicate through email, text, phone, newsletters and remind. The principal is charismatic and motivating, he treats the students with respect. Alexander High School has a great Magnet program as well as qualified AP courses and teachers. The school offers college courses which is a dual enrollment program and students are able to graduate with up to 2 years of college hours. Overall Alexander is a great school to attend with high academic scores, great athletic records and a very safe environment. Wish Alexander nothing but the best.
