When attending JA home of the Rebels'. It was very excellent experience learning academic and life skills.
I like that they ready us for life after high school. They are a feedback based school, so if you don't like how something is not fair you can go the to principle and tell them what is wrong. They will try to fix it and that we have many different resources to help you.
My experience at John Adams was great because It change my life. Before I went to that school, I wasn’t doing so good in my 9th grade year and was having trouble staying focus. When I started going to John Adams, I was more focus there and doing great in school. In my sophomore, junior and senior year, I had merit roll, honor roll and high honor roll. That school got me where I need to be and I finish my school year with a 4.0.
What I liked about John Adams High School, is that the staffs and teachers were caring and really wanted to see students reach their maximum potential. What I would like to see change is some of the violence and negative things that went on inside John Adams.
I liked that I was able to bring my grades up and enjoy meeting with new people. The things I did not like about John Adams was that it was strictly violence everyday. Student’s would fight everyday . I hope the school can fix the safety around the school and the school lunches
I love the diversity and the teacher at John Adams they help you so much with school and outside of school
Here its a good way to meet other students. You'll make a lot of friends. Be focus in class. Have fun with all the activities the school offer.
Many people are outside looking in and they think John Adams is a place of violence. Actually, John Adams doesn't tolerate fighting, bullying, or even arguing. I enjoyed my 4 years in John Adams because I learned what I was suppose to learn and I got through high school because of John Adams staff. The school was a very good school for me and it isn't what it seems to be.
Some of the teachers are effective in teaching but most only care about our hoodies and a lot of things that are a lot less important than our education. The teachers rarely give back work and rarely update our online grades excluding maybe one of my teachers, so we know where we are and what we need to do to catch up.
The teachers at my school genially care about there students. They try to help most of us if we are willing to try. They give students chances to turn there work in, even if its late. They do after school tutoring for those students who need extra help. They even try to have students teach others students.
My school have multiple extracurricular opportunities for the students in my school to do. We have so many different types of sports such as softball which i play, basketball for girls and boys, football, cheer-leading, high-stepping, a dance team, band, choir, golf, cross country, spelling bees, act boot camp and things of that nature.
We're pretty good with diverse and it's accepted no problems!
I don't do sports so I don't really know!
Most of the teachers do their best to help the students graduate on time!
They offer to give up their free time to tutor us!

The teachers are very nice. There are only a few teachers that really care and will go the extra mile to teach what most teachers out off teaching. There are two teachers in the building who are absolutely amazing and will do anything in their power to help out.
John Adams have the basic security guards and sometimes the gang unit. The security does a good enough job and are always on duty; they are not very hard to find. Our school nurse only comes maybe twice out of the week, which is very dangerous. If a student is sick, they normally call and go home rather than seek the nurse's assistance, if she is available.
John Adams have much team spirit. There are the basic sports the school has such as basketball, track & field, baseball, softball, volleyball, cheerleading and high stepping. There should be a bigger variety of sports. The teachers and advisors are very supportive of sports and attend games.
