My experience here was exactly what I said: Average. The facility is old, cracking, yet clean though there is the occasional rat and cockroach. The food is decent and the cooks are friendly though a little biased (i.e. They give guys more food than girls even when I ask for extra and am willing to pay for extra). Sports is the center of this school due to that being what we are known for and we excel at it. Academics...not so much. We have AP and PAP classes but they aren't very diverse. We literally only have Spanish for our foreign language. There are many clubs to join but there is always a fee, usually a fee of 20 dollars. The district built a new middle school which is very nice and they also built a champion center (which we honestly didn't need that. We just needed a weight room and a locker room, not a whole half field).

Coming from a much larger school my junior year, the transition to Robinson's smaller environment was very dissimilar compared to my previous high school experiences. The school is continuously growing in student population despite being a "small school," but the high school facility isn't being improved alike its students. Overall the school is really diverse and the teachers do try to push good academic agenda's on their students for furthering their education into college..
Joe T. Robinson High is a growing school that really takes care of it's students. The student population is diverse and small. Most graduating classes are around 100 students. The students generally attend 4 year colleges or universities within the state of Arkansas, and there is a good number that join the military. The athletics programs have improved greatly, and are now annual competitors for conference and state championships. The facilities are being updated. The teachers and staff are amazing and truly care for each student's success.
