I am a former employee of this school. I am not sure where Niche is getting their student:teacher ratios, but class sizes average 32-36 students and up. Whatever the system is for figuring this out, it needs to be done better so that people do not have a false sense of what these schools are like. Especially if it is a teacher searching for a position and they are getting a miss representation of what the school is actually like.
I went to school here this year and tbh I am really gonna miss the people but not much the school... they threatened 8th graders to "not get back up in the cafeteria" or else they would cancel our field day and 8th grader ceremony only SIX days before school ended, they really treated us as if we were elementary students at times and then adults for punishments. Some kid cheated off an EOG and they barely got ISS but when 2 people kiss in the hallway it's a afterschool detention. Anyways they just need to learn on how to Discipline their students.
I went to JN Fries from 6-8th grade, and I was a part of the IB program when they still had it. The school itself was pretty old, and there was a lot of issues with both STEM and IB programs being there. However, the school is now only STEM, so that may alleviate some of the problems. The faculty wasn't exactly great, but there were some pretty good teachers there.
