I liked Jim Ned High School because of the size and community. I was able to develop personal connections with my teachers, making me a better student. I would change some of the policies, including dress code just like every other high school student. However, I would like greater opportunities in sports and more evenly distributed funds to academic endeavors.
Some things I love about Jim Ned is that it is not very big and everyone knows everyone. Most people here are all friendly and the community is amazing. The teachers here are all really nice and helpful with anything you need. Also the administration is all really awesome with everthing.
Jim Ned is a good school, but the phone rule and the dress code could change. people can’t really show there true selves with a strict dress code.
Jim Ned High school is a welcoming and warm family friendly school, it welcomes all students and parents. Two things I do would want to change is the passing period some people don't have enough time to go to the restroom and get back to class in time. Another is the phone rule, yes it may be distracting but it can help with a lot of things like homework, games, school apps, and checking grades. But overall my experience here is amazing.
Jim Ned is a very small school with a lot of rules. i have only been here for half a year and I love the people but you need to be here your whole life to feel like you belong to the school just like any other school. If you can deal with the rules it is a great school to be at and the people are great.
My experience with Jim Ned High School has been interesting. They have many unnecessary rules and are old fashioned when it come to dress code. But overall it is a great school with a small yet tight-knit community. We excel in multiple subjects in school and also have a very competitive sports program. We're not just a school, but a family!
I began my education at Jim Ned as a junior. Just last year, I was welcomed to the Indian family with much love and support. All of my teachers, coaches, and now new friends accepted me as one of their own. Playing Multiple sports also helped me fit right in. The coaches at Jim Ned teach all of their athletes the real reason behind sports, and teach each one how sports relate to life and how to incorporate that.
Great academics! I'm currently in a dual credit college math class, which can be very difficult at times, but whenever I need help the teacher will come to my desk and help me understand what is being taught.
The teachers were helpful, however some of them had a sense of rude attitudes. Sports are definitely over academics here (especially football and basketball).
I enjoy Jim Ned high School because of the environment. Everybody knows each other, their families and family friends. Everybody is a big family and all of the students spend so much time together out of school at football games, going out to eat, or hanging out at the school making memories. I would like to see a change in the community...I want it to grow because "the bigger, the better". That's why I love Jim Ned High School.
To this this school further prosper, it would be most wonderful if the amount of individuality permitted among students increased. Another factor that could play into a better high school experience is more activities for students to take part in. Currently, there are very few extracurricular activities that do not included athletics.
Jim Ned is a very safe place to be.
FFA and PALS have constant jobs out of school.
They create exciting, easy to learn environments.
The teaching staff here doesn't seem to try as hard as they can. They don't seem to like their job like they should. I wish they would make class more exciting
There are plenty of organizations for people to get involved in. Some that people may not want to and others that all students are eager to get into. The most fun option at our school is FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) we get together and get to decide on a trip to a large cooperate company or a well known business. Most of the time we choose somewhere in a bigger city, like Austin, San Antonio or the Metroplex. we get to learn about how they got the business up and running and still get to have fun.
the administration is ok. but there is a lack of repect for authority due to previous principles
