I love Jim Hill! I especially love my principal Mr. Bobby Brown. I've never met someone so cool, but who gets their business handled! With me being a senior, he constantly checks up on us to make sure we are mentally okay. Anything we need, he provides. Need ACT tutor?, its done, he will hire someone immediately. Want to include another organization to the school?, come to him and suggest to him your ideas and he will definitely support!! Any thing we need, he always provide, if he doesn't have it at the moment he will find a way to get it. In addition to my amazing principal ,I'm surrounded by loving teachers who want to see me succeed and amazing classmates. We all act as a big family and I just love our tiger family!!
Jim Hill High School is a very unappreciated school. The students at this school very talented and brilliant. I love that most teacher see how smart their students are and push their students so they can accomplish things in life. I also love the teacher and student relationship at this school. The teacher actually get to know their students so they can better understand and teach them. This includes teacher staying after school to help students or just being there when a student needs to talk. Although the school is very great, we lack the resources we need to help students. The school need more resources to help students get into better colleges and be college prepared.
During my four years at Jim Hill High School, I’ve had many opportunities that I'm truly grateful for. Jim Hill has an excellent International Baccalaureate program that focuses on success. I am currently an IB student, and the program has helped me to develop life skills, prepare for college, become more responsible, and grow into an amazing student. The teachers work hard to assure that each scholar is thoroughly taught and understands the lessons.
