From Jesuit High School

Jesuit provides a dynamic environment for academic, spiritual, and social growth. For over 50 years, Jesuit High School challenges students from all backgrounds and beliefs with a rigorous academic program that prepares them for college and builds a foundation for life.

From his first steps on campus, a Jesuit student is challenged in the classroom, in interest clubs, through the arts and on the playing field; inspired through service opportunities; and supported and encouraged during liturgy and retreats. These combined experiences contribute to great academic, personal and spiritual growth building the whole person with a solid foundation.

From its historical origins, Ignatian philosophy always has insisted that students educated within these Jesuit principles not only use this education to better their own lives but also must strive to better the lives of others. Men of Jesuit. "Men for Others."

Jesuit prepared my son for college! He earned good grades in classes designed to challenge and prepare him for college and college level work. Upon graduation he went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and graduated with honors as a Bio-Physics Major. He played Baseball at Jesuit and was very involved in the activities of the school. As a Black student he was not isolated or ever felt anything other than appreciated, valued, and welcomed. It is a wonderful and beautiful campus with loving great instructors.

Jesuit High School helped me grow so much as a man. Everyone there really cares for you and is wanting to help you take that next step. I came in wanting to play baseball and basketball because as a kid sports were my life (Many can relate). When I didn't make either team I was really sad. So many people helped bring me up, I found a new interest in filmmaking, and now it is basically my calling!
Jesuit, a school that demonstrates pure acceptance. Often viewed as a privileged affluent high school, I have seen all walks of life at this school. In my case, I was afforded the opportunity to work off some of my tuition. I was granted a position in the cafeteria where I saw all types of young men. Whether they be ethnic, disabled, white, poor, or gay, all were accepted. The only thing I would change slightly is how much they easily can get distracted. Often times, conversations in classrooms will spiral into political or sport-related topics, but other than this the school is exceptional!
