Jesse C. Carson started as a standard school and it seems will end that way. While it is full of possibilities (Art Program, Online Courses, Dual Enrollment, etc.). the school lacks the proper resources to relay any helpful information. However, the school does well to have a strong Academic standing between students with very questionable motivation for A's. The facility isn't terrible as it does remain clean along with their food. The administration could also be improved on for example, they have refused to help students when asked to along with guidance counselors who have been unhelpful on multiple instances when trying to fix schedule for students or offering useful advice for college. While some teachers may take some "getting used to", you will be able to likely find one that you can relate to better as a person. While the school is based on very odd standards and there are certainly many things that can be improved on, the school isn't a terrible place to spend four years.

I really feel that many teachers at JCHS really care about the students, their success, and their well-being. The school has a generally welcoming and home-like environment. The only thing that I think could change would be the amount of information given to students. I personally don’t feel like I’ve been given all of the information or experience I need to have to be able to go to college in a year. There were many opportunities that I missed out on because no one ever reached out to me or posted information anywhere. Other than that the school is probably the best in our county.
Carson is a great school to attend! There's many ways you can get involved and be proud of your accomplishments as a Carson Cougar. There's a lot of yee yees but when you find the right crowd, you'll be just fine.
