High School is all about the Friday night football lights, and staying up late to finish the homework that us, students, procrastinated to do.The authenticity of being a tiger are the orange lockers and incredible staff. I can not compare the quality of my education to other schools because I have been in Jerome my whole life. But I can say this, Jerome High School has the most kind-hearted teachers. Not only have they taught me where to add commas and what the pathagreom theorem is, but they have taught me the most valuable lessons, life lessons. Those are the lessons and morals that I will use for eternity.Although it is a great school, I believe that we could have more programs to educate us on leadership and individualism. We can also be more educated on international topics, to construct our sense of empathy.
Education is all about growth, and JHS will be growing to make the success of students priority.

Jerome High School is pretty average when it comes to most aspects. The high school exists primarily to cater to students who live in Jerome; I believe that if you’re looking for a quality high school, there are other alternatives nearby. If you live in Jerome and are fine with just an average high school, then JHS is perfectly fine, the students and school don’t really have a distinguished culture of pride or excellence, but with the right management it could flourish into above average.
During my senior year they started tearing the school apart. Started in the summer and should have been done. Construction was stopped because they were waiting for prices of certain materials to go down. Soon enough it was winter and there was no insulation in the walls, walls were missing and plastic was put up instead. The classrooms were freezing, but we just had to put up with it. Lasted my entire senior year.
