My favorite thing about Jensen Beach High School is the administration and their eagerness to make the student's high school experience the best they have ever had. For example, whether it was homecoming parades and events to rally the students together, or football games to let loose and mingle with other classmates the staff at Jensen Beach High School was always thinking about the well being of the students. However, more attention should be implemented on the computer program. Being a recent alumni of Jensen Beach High School and a student of the computer program with Mr. Mahieu, more time, thought and money should be spent to embellish this program as it helps students familiarize themselves with the growing technology of today's world. Because technology is such a large part of our lives, it is crucial that these individuals come to the workforce with the best preparation possible.

Hmm . . . What did I like best about JBHS? Well, there are the BANDS! Truth be told, Mr. Dougherty and his bands are the reason that I pushed so hard, begged and pleaded, and even researched the school's academic ranking in the state v. that of our other district high schools. Jensen was the only one of the three ranked at the time (was 40th in the state). Then there actually was the academics. With the exception of one, all of my teachers have been amazing! I could tell that they actually cared about me learning and being successful the first time I met them, but I could also tell that they cared about me developing as a healthy, positive human being. That has been incredible. The next thing that drew me to Jensen was the reputation it had for enforcing its discipline code, which meant that I wouldn't have to put up with any of the ridiculousness I'd been stuck with all through elementary and middle school.
The teachers and staff are great! I had a wonderful time learning there. There are many clubs and activities you could do after school or before. You could join one of the many sport's teams that are offered, such as lacrosse, soccer, football, and more. I've been to many different school because of moving and I think Jensen serves the best food. They have many different things you can choose from. Jensen Beach High makes sure parents get involved in many different things. They can help with selling food and drinks at sport's games and more. Jensen also makes sure the students are prepared for college. They offer a variety of different scholarships and even invite staff from different colleges to come in and talk about their requirements and what they offer.
