I have loved my experience at Jenks. I have gone there since pre-k and it has been so nice to grow up and be around the same people for so many years. The highschool is extremely big so it's easy to make new friends, and also there is an incredible amount of courses to choose from! The academics and sports are what make Jenks High School the best.

Jenks High School offers a variety of classes and clubs that get students involved. Most of the teachers are great, but there are some that don't create a welcoming environment. I really like all of the different classes that Jenks offers, especially their AP classes. Through the Jenks classes, I have taken 4 AP classes, all of which I earned a 3. Jenks also offers a wide variety of student organizations and clubs, in which I am a member of the Spanish Honor Society and National Honor Society. The only real issue I have with Jenks is the food. The school cafeteria has a salad and baked potatoes line, but everything else is stuff like nachos, chicken nuggets and fries, and pizza, your standard cafeteria food. Jenks has always talked about how they serve high-quality food, but they really don't. Sometimes the apples are soft and bruised, and sometimes the chicken has bones in it.
There is a heavy emphasis on academics that is shown by the courses that the school offers. Although students may not opt into taking advanced classes such as Pre-AP and AP, Jenks offers pretty much any class you could think of. Athletics are a common activity among students, however exceptions are sometimes made to suit their needs when there are other activists such as in the arts that seems to show priority to athletes. The arts programs (band, vocal music, orchestra, etc.) are very strong and highly respected.
Overall, Jenks is pretty decent to attend.
