The principal, teachers and staff are truly amazing, they really care about the kids. We moved to JRRS in 2nd grade from Queens and it's a huge contrast to what we experienced in Queens. We get a lot of updates from the school and the teachers, and the PTA, so we feel very involved. Overall, the parents involved and seem very interested/invested in the kids education.
Schooling is excellent. Students would benefit from a better sports program. The kids adored the longtime principal. It's lost its charm but awesome teachers keep it going. The pta filled w/ entitled meanies and they get meaner w/ middle age.
I only have fond memories of Robert Seaman Elementary school. The school helped me cultivate my curiosity, drive to work, and, importantly, my personality and people skills.
