The environment is decent for a high school, with a variety of clubs and students to match. With the wide arrangement of classes offered, there is sure to be at least one class for everyone. My experience with the teachers was overall good, though a few are a bit creepy or out of touch/senile. I grew as a person here, and really felt like I was doing something useful. While Jefferson suffers from the usual school problems, like overcrowding, jerks, and heating/cooling issues, my high school experience wasn't that bad.
My experience at Jefferson has been very great. The ability to be welcomed and have the freedom and space to grow. Going to Jefferson installed a pride in myself and never once was I jealous and thought about a better school. The activities and the constant effort to figure out ways to involve students was very creative. As a basketball player, I felt very welcomed to enjoy other activities like the weekly yoga and chess classes.
Jefferson High School is an amazing school. Every one seems to be very welcoming and I have learned a lot since coming here my freshman year. I am taking classes that are preparing me for college and I find that to be very beneficial. I would like to see better equipment for our athletes. I believe our athletes can go farther with better equipment to use during practices. Jefferson High School is a smaller school, but I find that to be helpful because it is easier to get extra help with my homework if I do not understand it. I am very happy that I came to Jefferson High. I learned a lot, and met great people.
