From my perspective given the years I spent and the classrooms I was exposed to within my time there, the school functioned well enough. I'm mostly versed in the theater and AVID departments. Theater was exception and taught me plenty in regards to attention to detail, studying, memorization, and listening/responding skills. AVID, more or less, solidified these education aspects, while giving me the tools to problem solve in an academic setting.

I certainly can't imagine taking a different educational journey during my time at Jefferson High School. My other teachers greatly varied in their education styles. However, personal study in and outside the classroom was encouraged. Just as well, my creative elements were never limited. I could write my essays on my own theories and analysis.

Thomas Jefferson was a fun experience for me. I had a few "not good" teachers, but most of them were pretty awesome, and I'm pretty sure the other ones I had, retired already. (Good, lol) The people at the Go! Center are always there to help with whatever college-related thing you need help on. I even got to meet some teachers who had my older brother as a student when he was there, and now I see my sister going there with the same process. The school has been remodeled here and there while I was there, but something I've never seen up and running was that fountain in the middle of the courtyard. ;-; At least they should put water in that thing next time I go and visit the school.
This school has blessed me with so many awesome opportunities, from the academics to the sports. TJHS is by far the best school in San Antonio, we have an amazing band, color guard, and my favorite- Majorettes!
