Only sports are Little League, Soccer & Football. None are associated with the school. The local sports are run very poorly with very little planning. Everything is a last minute announcement, if they make an announcement.
There are none. They don't even do school plays or ceremonies.
Not as bad as an inner-city school, but as far as a Bergen County suburban school, it is very poor when comparing it to neighboring towns like Carlstadt and Rutherford.
It is a building with not enough classrooms. Lunch is the worst. Cannot believe they have the audacity to stop serving lunch later in the school year. There is no gym, no real outdoor area, even school dismissal is dangerous as they overcrowd and let kids out on the sidewalk.
Teachers are ok if it is their student. If it is a random teacher standing around and you ask a general question they will ignore you or give a short answer.
Just a very depressing experience. People in charge do not try to make things better.
The school is very heavy Polish. If you are not one of them, then they do not really talk to you. Non-Polish parents are very accepting no matter the background.
